Lower KS2 Teacher

Location:

Yorkshire and the Humber, West Yorkshire, Leeds, LS7

Job Type:

Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

£130 - £205 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons to Lower KS2 children
  • Assess and evaluate pupil progress to provide constructive feedback
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents and external stakeholders
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS check (we can apply for ths during your registration)
  • Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Lower KS2

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Previous teaching experience in Lower KS2

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse pupils' needs
  • Proficient in using educational technology

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs

Working Conditions:

You will be working in a school environment, following the academic calendar with regular school hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
