Level 3 Teaching Assistant needed for Salford Primary School (M5)

A Salford Primary School (M5) have come to Teaching Personnel seeking a level 3 teaching assistant to start in April. The role will predominantly be doing general teaching assistant duties in Key Stage 1 but the school need an adaptable TA who could cover in the other Key Stages if needed.

As part of the role you will be responsible for small group interventions working on Reading, Writing and Maths with children of lower ability and Special Educational Needs. You will be keeping these children on task and supporting them in understanding the work. These children are going to be looking to you as their role model, so it important you can offer a nurturing but firm approach.

The Salford Primary School have been graded "Good" by Ofsted and the Headteacher is continually looking to develop and improve the school and staff. They believe in giving every single child their chance to reach the full potential and fully believe that every teacher assistant plays a big role in this.
