Job Vacancy: Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Lancaster (October Start)

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Lancaster, starting October 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and dedicated individual looking to support children’s learning and development in a rewarding environment.

Role Overview:
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils across the curriculum, deliver small group interventions, and contribute to the overall positive ethos of the school. You will also have the opportunity to work with children with additional needs, helping to provide a tailored and nurturing learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teaching and learning across EYFS/KS1/KS2 (depending on experience)

• Deliver targeted interventions and 1:1 support

• Assist in the preparation of classroom resources

• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff

• Encourage pupil engagement, confidence, and independence

Requirements:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

• Previous experience supporting children in an educational setting

• A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic approach

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Enhanced Child Workforce DBS (or willingness to apply)
