***Learning Support Worker***

Teaching Personnel are working with an SEN school based in Worthing who are looking for a learning support worker to work with children to support their educational, social and behavioural needs whilst creating a safe and engaging learning environment.   

About the role:

The learning support worker will support children in completing their daily learning tasks whilst following their individual strategies and will take the time to understand the child’s individual needs and interests. They will be expected to support the child from 8:30am-15:30pm, which will include working outside and inside the classroom. The school’s procedures will be explained on entrance.

This school work with primary school children with a range of SEN needs. This ‘good’ school have exceptional strategies and support in place to help all their pupils achieve their potential and to ensure they are able to learn in an environment that they feel safe and comfortable.

Additional information:

  • Travel – Bus/Car
  • Pay - £385-£400 pw
  • Contract – Temp to Perm
  • Hours – 8:30am – 15:55pm
  • Experience – Primary/Secondary/SEN
  • Availability – Monday – Friday Full- Time

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
