Are you passionate about improving the learning journey of young students?

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a primary school based in Stoke-on-Trent who are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to start after October half-term. The school are currently looking for 2 individuals to support across KS1 and KS2.

About the role:

  • Start-date: 17th November
  • Ongoing/long-term
  • Part-time and full-time position available

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work with students who require further learning, social, emotional and behavioural support. This may include 1-1 or small group interventions organised by the class teacher. You will adapt learning resources and teaching style when necessary to ensure the students are able to fulfil their full potential. Additionally, you will provide updates to parents/carers on progress when necessary.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working with young people in any setting
  • Good knowledge of safeguarding procedures
  • A calm and empathetic approach to behaviour management
  • A genuine passion for working with young people and improving their school experience
  • Safeguarding training ( to be completed upon registering with Teaching Personnel)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
