Teaching Personnel are looking for Learning Support Assistants who are looking to work in one of our Fantastic Special Educational Needs schools, on a day to day basis. This Specialist school makes daily requests to us for supply staff and so we need you!

The school has set standards, that each adult around the school model. Each pupil is:

  • Valued to having an individual voice
  • An opportunity to build their self-esteem and confidence

The School aims to:

  • Provide pupils with a safe environment and the best possible education and support, promoting their pathway to independence in learning and life skills
  • Provide pupils with positive guidance to manage their behaviour through clear expectations, rewards and sanctions
  • Achieve high standards of teaching for all pupils throughout the school day; providing an exciting curriculum in a positive and attractive environment
  • Provide a pathway at the end of KS4 and the end of post-16 for every young person; preparing them for further learning and life as an adult
  • Keep parents and carers informed of their child's progress and well-being at school

YOU:

  • Ideally hold a child workforce DBS, on the update service - we can support you through the process of applying for one if you do not already have one.
  • Confidence in working with students who have PMLD and working with Primary aged students
  • Passionate, Kind and
  • Ideally holds a clean UK driving License with access to a vehicle 5 days a week
  • Taking a personal interest in the learning of the pupil you'll be mentoring
