Teaching Personnel are seeking Learning Support Assistants and Behaviour Support Workers with experience in supporting students with Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC) in Key Stages 3-5. You must have at least 6 months previous experience of working with ASC in an educational capacity. Successful applicants will possess excellent communication and behaviour management skills and will be comfortable supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis in a classroom environment.

  • Experienced Teaching Assistants required to support pupils with Autism in specialist SEN schools
  • 6 months experience working with young people with Autism
  • Available immediately for interviews
  • Available 3-5 days a week during term time

In return, Teaching Personnel will offer you:

  • A variety of placements at Special Schools, Alternative Provisions and Mainstream Schools
  • The chance to make a difference to pupils with a diagnosis of SEN including ASC, ADHD, SEMH, GDD or SLCN
  • Development opportunities including online and in-house courses such as Team Teach, Moving and Handling, Autism Awareness and Child Psychology to name a few
