Learning Support Assistant - SEN
We are currently working with a specialist school near Thames Ditton who are looking for Learning Support Assistants with experience helping those with additional needs.
Salary:
£83 - £95 Per day
Job Duties:
- Provide support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in classroom settings
- Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs)
- Support students with learning difficulties or disabilities in accessing the curriculum
- Help with personal care needs of students, if required
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment
Required Qualifications:
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Experience:
Prior experience working with children or individuals with special educational needs
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of different learning needs and strategies to support them
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and flexibility
Working Conditions:
- Work primarily in a school setting
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
