Teaching Personnel are working closely with a SEN school in Loughton to recruit outstanding Learning Support Assistants.

 

About the role:

You will support students with Autism & SLD in a classroom setting. You will be supported by 2-3 other support staff as well as a classroom teacher. Support in a classroom will include:

-          Providing tailored support to students aged 5-18 y.o

-          Collaborate with teachers & other staff to ensure a smooth running day

-          Regulating challenging behaviours

-          Create & maintain a safe, positive environment for students & staff

-          Personal care is required by all staff

 

All staff will receive tailored training & will be fully supported in their role.

 

Details:

Start: Immediate start (flexible)

Pay: Up to £105 per day, depending on experience (PAYE)

Location: Plaistow

Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday 8:30AM – 3:30PM

 

Essentials:

-          Experience working with SEN or in a school

-          Enhanced DBS on the update register (or willing to apply for one)

-          Be willing to do Personal Care

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
