We are working with an excellent SEN School located in Horsham who require full time learning support assistants to support pupils 1:1 and in small groups.
The school is architecturally designed with autism in mind and has excellent facilities which make this provision an excellent place to work and learn. Due to a recent expansion, we’re looking for caring, enthusiastic and energetic individuals to help them navigate School life!
The role;
⭐ Working within a friendly, professional team of staff – providing social, emotional and academic support for autistic students
Playing a key part in helping students unlock their potential
Monitoring student progress and ensuring their development is on track
Engaging in staff training and development opportunities
️Ensuring student safety is at the forefront of your work at all times
While direct education experience is advantageous, applications from individuals who believe they have the skills to thrive in this sector are welcome.
Like mainstream Schools, some days can be a challenge and not everything goes to plan – however with your support and dedication, students will overcome obstacles preventing them from succeeding and have a great fun on their journey in education.

Details;
Salary: £21,020 per annum
⌚Hours: 8:30 – 16:30
Location: Horsham, West Sussex
✅Requirements: Enhanced Child Only DBS or willing to apply, Own car and driving licence

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
