Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Upminster, Essex
Salary: £28,929 per annum | Pro-rata: £21,962.15
Grade 3, SCP 6 (Outer London)
Contract Type: Term Time Only (39 working weeks, paid at 40 weeks)
Hours: 31.25 hours per week, 5 days per week
Location: Upminster, Essex

Our client, a highly successful and oversubscribed coeducational secondary school based in Upminster, is seeking to appoint ambitious, effective, and experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join their inclusive and forward-thinking school community.

The school is part of a growing Multi-Academy Trust committed to providing outstanding education and promoting a culture of aspiration and achievement.

About the Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will support the educational, emotional, and social needs of students across the school, including those with additional needs. You will work closely with teaching staff and other professionals to ensure that every student has the opportunity to thrive. The role may involve intimate care for pupils and requires compassion, discretion, and professionalism.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
