Teaching Personnel are seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) or Teaching Assistant (TA) to work in our client school in Bournemouth. This is a full time role to start in January 2021 (or earlier depending on your availability).
- Monday - Friday, 9-3.30
- SEN Support - Autism
- Full Time
The school is an SEN School in Bournemouth catering for pupils with Autism. The school caters for children from 4-16 years old. The school has on-site parking and is easily reachable by public transport.
You will be working within the classroom, supporting the teacher with the lessons. You will be working both on a 1-1 basis and with small groups. The class sizes are small, usually around 6 pupils, and there will also be other TA's in the class. Due to their needs, the pupils can display challenging behaviour and you should be confident supporting this.
To be successful in this role you should:
- have experience supporting Autism; either within an education setting or on a personal basis
- be confident supporting challenging behaviour
- be flexible and adaptable to working with different ages/classes

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
