Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant/ SEN Learning Support Assistant/ Support Worker looking to join a vibrant SEN school?

Teaching Personnel is working with a fantastic SEN school in Plymouth who are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to support a secondary aged pupil with SEMH on a 1:1 basis. This job is full-time, 8:30-3:30 5 days a week and is starting in December 2019. The role will be ongoing for the remainder of the academic year with the potential to be permanent.

The successful candidate MUST have: experience working within a mainstream school, alternative provision or inclusion centre.

Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs/SEN (Autism, Emotional Difficulties, Behavioural Difficulties or Learning Difficulties) or training in PECS/ Makaton/ BSL / Team Teach is desirable.

In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of GBP40, plus an annual subscription fee of GBP13 for the Update Service.
