Learning Support Assistant

A secondary school in Trafford have an opening within their support department for a Learning Support Assistant. The role is set to start after the February 22^nd.

You will be supporting students from all year groups in the SEN annex of the school providing 1:1 and small group mentorship. These students generally have SEMH or other pastoral needs which are causing them to fall behind academically.

The successful Learning Support Assistant should have prior experience providing support to young adults in a similar setting. This position is due to start in September and is due to work on a full time basis for at least one academic term.

This position is ideal for graduates who are considering a future role in education and would provide invaluable experience to enhance future PGCE applications.

Highlights of the Learning Support Assistant position:

-                      Full time Learning Support Assistant role

-                      Ideal position for a Graduate or experienced Mentor/Teaching Assistant

-                      Working within the Learning Support Unit, supporting students across KS3 and KS4

-                      GBP1200 - GBP1350 per month

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
