Learning Support Assistant

As we approach the end of the academic year, our client schools are starting to advertise for permanent positions to start in the new term.

We work with a number of Pupil Referral Units which cater to students currently excluded from mainstream school. These students often have Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs therefore the curriculum they follow is heavily based around vocational activities such as sports, holistic learning and functional skills.

We are looking to hire Learning Support Assistants to work in these provisions, on a full time basis in the new school year. You can expect  heavy behaviour management throughout the school day, however, it's important to inspire and motivate the students to make the correct choices in terms of their education and future.

We are looking for people that are able to make a positive impact on the lives of young people and a proven track record of building and developing relationships with young people.

To be considered to be put forward for September roles you must have;

• Experience of working with SEMH needs
• The ability to inspire and motivate young people
• A proven track record of effective behaviour management skills and developing positive relationships with young people
