Learning Support Assistant

Secondary School in Wilmslow require Teaching Assistants to work within their SEN department supporting students on a small group and 1:1 basis. These teaching assistant posts are both part time and full time during term time with the hours being 8:30am-3:30pm.

The ideal candidates will have experience working in a secondary school as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Mentor or experience working with young people or adults who have moderate learning difficulties, Autism or social emotional health support requirements.

The school is graded Good by Ofsted and has a large SEN support department that you will be working within. You will be supporting students on a small group and 1:1 basis where you can make a significant difference on their learning experience. After an initial temporary period there is an opportunity to earn a school based contract for the right candidate.

Located in the SK9 post code of Stockport the school has excellent public transport routes for those who don’t drive.
