A large 3/4 form entry Primary school based in Tooting SW17 are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a boy in Year 3. This boy has Social Emotional and Metal Health needs (SEMH) and requires a full time LSA to work closely with him.
This role is to start immediately and will be a full time role. The working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 3:30pm - The school are looking for someone on a permanent basis if you are suitable.

Teacher assistants typically do the following: Reinforce lessons presented by teachers by reviewing material with students one-on-one or in small groups. Raise overall achievement and involvement in the area or class in which they are working by providing dedicated support in the classroom. Enforce school and class rules to help teach students proper behaviour. Help teachers with record keeping, such as tracking attendance and calculating grades. You may be expected to work in a variety of classrooms, supporting students of various ages and abilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
