We are seeking an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant!

  • Surbiton
  • Full Time Long Term Role - Key Stage 1
  • February - July 2026
  • Hours of 08:30 - 15:30 each day
  • Parking available on site or easy access via public transport
Are you considering a future in educational psychology, mental health, or teaching?
A supportive and well-resourced primary school in Surbiton is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to work in Key Stage 1, supporting pupils with additional emotional and learning needs.
This role allows you to apply psychology theory in a real classroom setting.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Supporting children with emotional regulation and behaviour
  • Working closely with pupils who need additional encouragement
  • Assisting teachers with differentiated learning activities
  • Supporting pupils both academically and socially
 
Perfect for educators who are:
  • Psychology or Criminology graduates
  • Experienced SEN or behaviour support staff
  • Patient, reflective, and emotionally intelligent
  • Looking for meaningful, hands-on experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
