KS3 Learning Support Assistant needed at a Secondary School in Stretford

Teaching Personnel are working with a Secondary School based in the heart of Stretford who are looking for an outgoing and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join their team. A successful applicant has the potential stay with the school on a rolling contract until July 2024 if they are excelling in the school environment.

The successful applicant will need to be available to start from Monday 19^th February 2024. This role offers the potential to earn up to £1800PCM (depending on experience). The school is situated in Stretford and is within short walking distance to local public transport links, and also has a large and secure onsite car park.

Key role responsibilities:

-          Working 1:1 with a KS3 student who has suffered from adverse childhood experiences and trauma.

-          Motivate and push this student so that they can succeed with working back towards mainstream education.

-          Supporting mainly with core subjects like Maths, English and Science.

-          Offering detailed feedback on this student’s progress and development to teachers and higher members of the school authority.

The school are looking for a determined and patient Learning Support Assistant who is experienced and genuinely passionate about working with children. It is essential that applicants are flexible and willing to help with a variety of subjects.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
