Job description

A welcoming and well-regarded mainstream primary school in Eastleigh, Southampton is seeking a strong and committed Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team as soon as possible.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development within a nurturing school environment. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support pupils across the curriculum, while also being confident and adaptable in providing targeted 1:1 support where required.

The role would suit someone who:

  • Has previous experience working within a primary school setting
  • Demonstrates a proactive and flexible approach to supporting learning
  • Is confident working both within the classroom and on a 1:1 basis
  • Builds positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
  • Has a genuine commitment to supporting children with a range of needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
