Learning Support Assistant – January Start – Southampton
Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant looking for your next rewarding role? Teaching Personnel are currently seeking dedicated and passionate LSAs to join our partner schools across Southampton from January 2026.
We are looking for adaptable and motivated individuals who have experience supporting children in a mainstream classroom setting, and who are also confident working 1:1 with pupils or delivering small group interventions. You’ll play a key role in helping pupils achieve their full potential—academically, socially, and emotionally.
What we’re looking for:

Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant, or similar role within a school setting
-
Confidence supporting pupils with varying abilities, including those with additional learning needs
-
A positive and proactive approach to supporting teaching and learning
-
Flexibility to work across different year groups and settings
-
A full UK driving licence and access to a car (due to the range of school locations)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
