Are you passionate about supporting individual children to thrive in their learning?
We are currently seeking a dedicated and patient Learning Support Assistant to provide one-to-one support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in primary schools across Southampton.

About the Role:

• This rewarding position involves working closely with a child on a one-to-one basis
• Supporting their academic, social, and emotional development in either a Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 setting.
• You’ll be collaborating with class teachers, SENCOs, and parents to tailor support and ensure the child is fully engaged and progressing in their learning.

Requirements:

• Proven experience supporting children with SEN on a one-to-one basis
• Experience in a primary school environment
• A sound understanding of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
