Full-Time Learning Support Assistant Wanted in Southampton – Supporting a Child with ADHD | Starting Next Academic Year
Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant looking for a rewarding full-time role in the upcoming academic year? We are seeking a compassionate and committed professional to provide dedicated 1:1 support to a child with ADHD, both in the classroom and in wider school activities.
This role offers the chance to make a real difference by helping the child engage fully with their learning, develop positive behaviours, and build confidence across all areas of school life. What we’re looking for:

Experience working 1:1 with children, ideally supporting those with ADHD or additional needs

A calm and nurturing approach to support learning and behaviour management

Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with teaching staff and parents

Flexibility to support in-class learning as well as activities outside the classroom

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
