Teaching Personnel is working closely with a welcoming and inclusive school in Newbury to recruit a committed Learning Support Assistant for the new academic year starting September 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils with special educational needs inside and outside the classroom
• Work with the SENCo and class teachers to implement individual education plans (IEPs)
• Create a nurturing and encouraging environment to help pupils achieve their full potential
• Monitor and report on pupil progress and wellbeing

Requirements:

• Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with SEN, is highly desirable
• Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with pupils
• Flexible and team-oriented mindset
• Enhanced child workforce DBS (assistance provided if needed)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
