Learning Support Assistant – Newbury – September 2025 Start
Location: Newbury, West Berkshire

Pay: From £89.83 per day

Agency: Teaching Personnel
Teaching Personnel is working closely with a welcoming and inclusive school in Newbury to recruit a committed Learning Support Assistant for the new academic year starting September 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with special educational needs inside and outside the classroom
- Work with the SENCo and class teachers to implement individual education plans (IEPs)
- Create a nurturing and encouraging environment to help pupils achieve their full potential
- Monitor and report on pupil progress and wellbeing
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with SEN, is highly desirable
- Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with pupils
- Flexible and team-oriented mindset
- Enhanced child workforce DBS (assistance provided if needed)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
