Learning Support Assistant (Secondary School)

Pay: £100–£110 per day

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming secondary school in New Romney. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to students’ learning and development in a supportive school environment.

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Support students with additional learning needs, both 1:1 and in small groups

• Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons

• Help students stay focused, motivated, and confident in their learning

• Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing

• Adapt support strategies to meet individual student needs

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience working with secondary-aged students (school-based experience preferred)

• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A genuine passion for supporting young people’s education

• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
