Manchester secondary school require a learning support assistant to start in September 2020.
This is a full time role supporting students to ensure they reach their expected levels of progress in line with their Progress targets. This role is highly rewarding and provided a great sense of job satisfaction as it will provide you with the opportunity to work with students on a small group and 1:1 basis.
As a learning mentor to these students in question you will be exposed to working with various moderate learning difficulties such as Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Social emotional mental health and behaviour. Located in central Manchester the school has large percentage of students at over 40% who are eligible for free school meals due to its diverse catchment area and moderate levels of students who use English as an additional language. The role will be for 2 terms initially until July 2020 and will then be reviewed for the following academic year with the potential to become permanent dependant on funding and student requirements.
The school has outstanding modern facilities providing a platform to provide the students in your care with the latest technological equipment. Direct tram and bus routes make this school easily accessible for those on public transport in addition to train routes.
