Learning Support Assistant
Job description
Are you passionate about supporting children and helping them achieve their potential? Teaching Personnel is looking for dedicated and friendly Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work in schools across Hastings and East Sussex. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the classroom while gaining valuable experience in education.
The Role:

Supporting pupils in the classroom, both individually and in small groups
-
Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and preparation
-
Helping pupils with additional needs, including SEN support where required
-
Encouraging positive behaviour and contributing to a calm, inclusive classroom environment
-
Observing and reporting on pupil progress to teaching staff
-
Supporting learning activities and helping students stay engaged
Who We’re Looking For:

Experience working with children or young people (education, childcare, mentoring, or similar)
-
A caring, patient, and supportive approach
-
Good communication and teamwork skills
-
Reliable, flexible, and proactive
-
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
