Learning Support Assistant – SEN Primary Schools

Location: Dibden
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £13.75 per hour
Contract: Flexible – Full-Time or Part-Time

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work within SEN primary schools across Dibden, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs.

About the Role

As a Learning Support Assistant in an SEN primary setting, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 or small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

  • Support children with needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties

  • Assist the class teacher with tailored learning activities

  • Promote a positive, safe, and nurturing learning environment

  • Support pupils with both academic and emotional development

Requirements

  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

  • Experience with SEN is desirable but not essential

  • A patient, caring, and resilient approach

  • Driving preferred but not necessary
