Unqualified 1-to-1 SEN Learning Support Assistant
Locations: Bristol, Bath & Gloucestershire
Full-Time Position Available
Daily Rate: £89 – £100
Teaching Personnel is looking for passionate individuals to provide one-to-one support to students with special educational needs (SEN). SEN may include mental health conditions, physical disabilities, communication, and behavioural challenges. Understanding, empathy, and patience are essential in this role as you work closely with students aged 5 to 16, playing a vital part in their academic journey.

Start Date: ASAP, ongoing throughout the academic year

Days: Monday to Friday, term time only

Locations: Bristol, Bath, and Gloucestershire

Hours: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (may vary depending on school) ⏰

What You’ll Do

Provide one-to-one support to help a student thrive academically and emotionally

Assist the classroom teacher in delivering tailored lessons, keeping students engaged and involved

Support the implementation of Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs)

Build trusting relationships that help students feel safe, supported, and confident ❤️

Assist with learning activities and classwork as needed
The Ideal Candidate

Passionate about education and eager to start or develop a career in this rewarding field

Experience in an educational setting is a plus but not essential

Strong behavioural management and communication skills ️

Flexible and able to adapt your approach to meet individual student needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
