Learning Support Assistant – Basingstoke
£13.75 per hour | Term-Time Only | Part-Time or Full-Time
Provided through Teaching Personnel

Teaching Personnel is seeking caring and motivated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work within welcoming and inclusive schools across Basingstoke. If you’re passionate about supporting young people and helping them succeed, this could be the perfect role for you.

About the Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 or small-group support to help pupils access learning and make progress.

  • Work collaboratively with class teachers to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

  • Support students with special educational needs (SEN) and encourage their independence.

  • Promote engagement, confidence, and positive behaviour in the classroom.

  • Assist with general classroom tasks and contribute to the wellbeing of all pupils.

What We’re Looking For

  • Enthusiastic, patient, and supportive individuals.

  • Experience working with children is helpful but not essential.

  • Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.

  • Reliability, professionalism, and a willingness to learn.

  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
