£13.75 per hour | 8:30am–4:30pm (as required)

Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated and resilient Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to support pupils with a wide range of additional needs at a specialist school located in the New Forest. This role offers meaningful, long-term work with the potential for career progression.

We are looking for individuals who have proven experience supporting children or young people with additional needs in educational, medical, or care settings. The position is ideally 5 days per week, though 4 days will be considered for strong candidates.

You will begin employment via our agency, and the school is open to offering a direct contract after a successful probation period, providing you integrate well with the team, maintain good attendance, and demonstrate strong commitment to the pupils.

About the Role

  • Support students with diverse needs that affect communication, social development, learning, and behaviour

  • Work closely with teachers, therapists, and wider support staff

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support

  • Promote engagement, independence, life skills, and positive relationships

  • Assist with personal care where required

  • Follow structured routines and personalised learning plans

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
