Teaching Personnel is the UK's leading education recruitment agency - the Plymouth branch are recruiting for a full time learning mentor to work 1:1 with a student in one of our secondary SEN schools.
This role is an immediate start and will require an experienced TA, learning mentor, sports coach or NQT to support on a 1:1 basis with a student with SEN such as Autism, SEMH and challenging behaviour.
The successful candidate will have:
- Recent experience supporting and working with children and young adults with special educational needs. This can be from a care or educational background
- A nurturing and patient approach to learning and understanding
- Availability 5 days a week, Monday to Friday
- Have a strong academic background. Grades A - C in Maths and English GCSE
- Have a full UK driving licence with access to own transport
- The aptitude to build positive relationships with students
- A valid DBS on the update service or be willing apply for a new one and register with the update service

Teaching Personnel offer competitive rates, WEEKLY PAY and do not use Umbrella companies to process your payment. Earn from £325 per week.
