Learning Mentor

This is an exciting opportunity for anyone with experience in the youth work sector or supporting children and young people.

• Full-time Learning Mentor.
• Required from November 2020, on an ongoing basis.
• Supporting students aged 11-16, ranging in levels of learning ability.
• Earn up to GBP350 per week, depending on experience.
• Must have previous experience supporting pupils with additional learning needs or transferrable skills for this role.
• Opportunity to work in a large secondary school in Bury with excellent links to CPD Training.

The successful Learning Mentor will have a number of roles and responsibilities including providing additional support for a small group of students in a variety of subjects such as English and Maths, supporting students with additional learning needs such as dyslexia and dyspraxia and working alongside the class teacher to promote positive behaviour management.

Our client school is based in Bury and can be accessed via the M66 and A56 from surrounding areas of Greater Manchester for those who have their own transportation. For non-drivers, there are several forms of public transport with links to areas such as Bury, Salford and central Manchester.
