Learning & Behaviour Support Assistant

Due to a variety of schools recent growth, a number of long term positions have become available in a school that caters for children with behavioural difficulties . The school is based in Weston-Super-Mare and are looking for a number of Teaching Assistants to start ASAP, aiding students who have been recognised as needing additional support. The position is full time and the successful candidates will be considered for ongoing permanent placements. The ideal candidates will be engaging, charismatic and have a clear goal to aid with the schools students.

This role could be ideal for those people looking to gain further experience in education, or as a support worker.

This schools obvious vision is to give each of their students the opportunity to grow as individuals and develop academically, making it a great atmosphere for Teaching / Support staff to work in.

To become part of Teaching Personnel Team you will:

  • Have ambition to develop your skills in education further
  • Able to provide support to children of varying abilities in an innovative way
  • Experience working with children
  • Experience working with secondary aged children would be beneficial
  • Able to support the learning policies and become an active member of the teaching team
  • Able to use your academic knowledge to aid children on 1:1 basis
