To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
Key Responsibilities:
As the Social Lead Practitioner of Maths, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the mathematics department and fostering a positive learning culture. Your responsibilities will include:
*Leading and managing the Maths department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
*Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement effective strategies to improve student attainment and progress in Maths.
*Mentoring and supporting fellow teachers, contributing to their professional development.
*Engaging with parents and the wider community to promote a positive and inclusive school culture.
*Contributing to the development and implementation of school-wide initiatives.
Requirements:
*To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Mathematics or a related field.
*Proven experience as a Lead Practitioner or in a similar leadership role within a Maths department.
*A track record of improving student outcomes in Maths.
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate colleagues.
*A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for innovative teaching and learning approaches.
*Knowledge of current educational trends, policies, and practices.
