Latin Teacher
Our partner, an 'Excellent' Cardiff based Secondary school, is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Latin Teacher to join their dedicated and enthusiastic teaching team.
This school boasts a high level of diversity and has a strong leadership team focussing on the development of all staff and an 'inclusion for all attitude' for all pupils. The school is based on a large site in the West of Cardiff and is currently going the through planning for an exciting new build.
The school is looking for a dynamic and well-qualified Latin Teacher to join their passionate and knowledgeable department. This is a full-time position to commence October 2019 or as soon as possible for the right candidate, depending on availability. The Latin Teacher position would suit either an experienced Latin Teacher or someone recently qualified. Applicants should have a degree in a relevant field and be able to teach up to A-level ability, although that the bulk of the teaching content will be up to GCSE. Experience in the UK schools' system is essential and applicants should possess excellent classroom management skills as well as being able to deliver high quality academic results. The majority of the teaching will be at KS3, KS4 GCSE level however some high ability pupils will be aiming for the highest grades at KS4 so the ability to teach at KS5 level is preferred.
