LAC Tutors - Manchester

Job description

I am currently seeking specialist LAC Tutors who are available to start ASAP. These roles will involve working flexible part time hours so would be suitable for Teachers who are looking to work flexible hours to fit around family life. I currently work in co-operation with various Local Authorities including: Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Tameside and Stockport providing them with Specialist Tutors who can support the development of LAC pupils.

The pupils who require tuition are being educated outside of mainstream education for a variety of reasons including: SEN needs, LAC pupils, pupils who have being excluded and display signs of challenging behaviour and pupils who have SEMH needs. Due to the nature of the needs of the pupils Tutors will ideally have experience of working with pupils who display challenging behaviour and be aware of how to de-escalate situations.

If you wish to be considered for the position you should:

- Qualified Teacher Status or significant tutoring experience

- The ability to work flexible hours and build strong working relationships with pupils

- A passion for supporting all pupils in reaching their full potential

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
