Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a Tutor to provide one-on-one tutoring to KS3 school students in Northampton and the surrounding areas.

As a KS3 Home Tutor, you will work closely with individual students to deliver tailored lessons that cater to their specific needs and learning styles.

Requirements need for the role of a KS3 Tutor:

  • A degree in education or a relevant subject area.
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or at least a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience.
  • Previous teaching or tutoring experience, especially in a one-on-one setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the secondary curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.

Key Responsibilities of a KS3 Tutor:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons that help students improve their subject knowledge and academic performance.
  • Monitor and track the student's progress, adjusting the teaching approach as needed.
  • Provide one-on-one tutoring to secondary school students in various subjects, including but not limited to Mathematics, English, Science, and Humanities.
  • Assess the student's current level of understanding and create a customized learning plan to address their specific learning needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
