Job description

A successful secondary school in Harrow is seeking a passionate and dedicated KS3–KS4 Qualified Teacher to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an inspiring educator who can deliver high quality lessons, raise achievement, and support students in reaching their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons for KS3 and KS4 students.

  • Track, assess, and report on pupil progress.

  • Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including SEN.

  • Create a positive and safe classroom environment.

  • Contribute to department planning and whole-school life.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • Experience teaching KS3–KS4.

  • Strong classroom management and subject knowledge.

  • Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.

  • Ability to work well as part of a team.

This role offers the chance to inspire young people, support their learning journey, and develop as a professional in a welcoming school community. Both experienced teachers and ECTs are encouraged to apply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
