Burnley Primary School BB12
Year 6 SATs Experience
*CPD Opportunities such as Team Teach and Autism Awareness Training*
Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside a large 2 form entry Primary School (BB12) in the heart of Burnley who are hoping to use their 'Pupil Premium money' to employ a teaching assistant to work alongside pupils in Year 6. The role will entail prepping the children for their SATS tests in the summer 1 term. The role is to commence from September and will be on a full time basis for the full academic year. The majority of the work will be centred around Maths, English & Science work. The Headteacher is looking for an experienced enthusiastic practitioner who has had experience working within year 6, SATS boosters & experience working with lower attaining pupils. The role will involve delivering planned Intervention sessions in Maths & English in a morning and then general support in an afternoon across a number of KS2 year groups. The funding will stretch for the full year with the possibility of going onto a school contract depending on feedback/performance & availability.
I have spoken directly with the Headteacher who is very approachable and has strong links with other schools in Burnley and the surrounding areas. If you have experience as a general Teaching Assistant specifically working with children in KS2 we want to hear from you! Due to the reputation of the school in the area this is an excellent opportunity and this school would look excellent on your CV!
Please don't hesitate to contact me if you are keen to secure a role from September 2019, rates of pay are competitive and start at £9.50 per hour.
Please don't hesitate to contact Howard on 01772 842154 or email me on , if you know of any friends or family members who would be suited to roles of this nature please pass on my details as I am actively recruiting Education Professionals in the area.
