KS2 Teaching Assistants -Ealing, Immediate Start
This is an outstanding opportunity for a thoughtful and kind individual looking for a rewarding new role, with a desire to make a real difference in pupil's lives. Teaching Personnel is currently looking for a KS2 teaching assistant to join a primary school in the Ealing.
The successful candidate:
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in schools or is degree qualified is essential
- Has previously covered classes or completed PPA cover
- Use initiative, the ability to adapt and to be inventive when dealing with different needs
- Have worked with a range of SEN and EAL pupils, including downs syndrome, autism and children who are non verbal
- Worked with children age 7-11 not necessarily in an educational capacity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be calm, passionate and understanding
As a prospective applicant with previous experience with Autism, ADHD, EBD, PMLD, etc. is favourable however, overall experience with working with SEN children will be taken into account. Additional training for SEN is great but not crucial as are able to offer course such as, NASEN, Autism Awareness Training and Read, Write Inc. Phonics Training.
We are currently working with many schools within the Ealing, area with multiple public transport options, with some schools providing on site parking.
