KS2 Teacher - West Hampstead (NW6)

Date posted : 22/06/18
£30000 - £39000 per annum

Job description

This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...

Teaching Personnel are thrilled to announce that a rare opportunity has arisen at one of our 'Outstanding' schools in West Hampstead. The school is looking for an experienced Year 3/4 class teacher, however NQTs are strongly advised to apply; and this is due to the amazing support that is on offer from the Phase Leader and Senior Leadership Team. The school is a lovely 1 form entry Nursery - Year 6 Primary school (NW6). They have fabulous transport links, so their teachers travel from a range of areas. The school attracts (and boasts!) a very stable staff list, hence why this particular role is certainly a rare and invaluable opportunity for the right person. Speaking with the Assistant Head, their team are a young and dynamic bunch - who very much love working with their excellently behaved children.

The school caters for 266 pupils, and since the last Ofsted and SIAMS inspection - the school has moved into a beautiful new build. Their ethos was described as 'one of warmth, welcome and inclusion for all children and staff', and this is simply due to the school leading by example in their pastoral care and inclusion practices.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A passion for children's learning and development
  • High aspirations for all children and a desire to raise standards
  • An ability to influence others
  • An ability to work with the whole school community
  • High aspirations for themselves and a commitment to further development
  • A passion, drive and enthusiasm for leading all children within the school
  • At least one year's teaching experience in the UK (NQTs included)

The school can offer:

  • A supportive and challenging governing body
  • Extremely supportive colleagues
  • The freedom and support to make a difference
  • A leadership team committed to children achieving their very best and to staff developing their expertise
  • A proven track record of quality staff training
  • Renowned high value on the professional development of their staff
  • An enriched and creative curriculum is the key to driving and sustaining our rapidly improving achievements

Next week, members of the SLT would like to meet with applicants who have put themselves forward; so that you can tour the school and get a feel for its environment. Here would be your opportunity to take your time in learning about the role, the school and of course - meeting your new potential colleagues!

If this role seems like it's got your name written all over it, send us your CV online - or simply give us a call on 02075933088. It's a really exciting opportunity if you're looking to further develop your teaching career - and be part of a vibrant, energetic and fun group!
