Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured lessons for a Year 5 class
- Work closely with support staff, parents, and school leadership to ensure the best outcomes for all pupils.
- Uphold school policies, including safeguarding and behaviour management procedures.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, tailoring support and feedback to individual needs
- Engage with professional development and contribute to the wider school community
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and wellbeing
The ideal candidate:
- A qualified teacher with QTS relevant degree (usually a bachelor’s in education or a subject related to the one you’ll teach).
- Good knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, particularly Year 5
- A creative and reflective approach to teaching and learning
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Well-organised, proactive, and committed to high standards
- A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for helping children thrive

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
