Full-Time KS2 Teacher – September 2025 Start
Location: Skelmersdale
Rate of Pay: Competitive
Start Date: September 2025

Are you a dedicated and qualified Key Stage 2 Teacher ready for a new challenge? We are currently recruiting for full-time KS2 teaching roles in friendly and inclusive primary schools across the Skelmersdale area.

About the Role

As a KS2 Teacher, you’ll play a key part in delivering a broad and balanced curriculum that supports academic achievement and personal development. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum

  • Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

  • Monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs

  • Working closely with colleagues and parents to support children’s learning and well-being

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience teaching in a Key Stage 2 setting

  • Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and effective classroom practice

  • A current DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

  • A positive, reflective, and child-focused teaching approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
