Job description

Job Title: KS1 Teacher Chorley

Location:

North West England, Lancashire, Withnell

Job Type:

Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Salary:

£160 - £220 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 1 students
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to both students and parents
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 1 curriculum
  • Strong knowledge of primary education principles and practises

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Key Stage 1

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Proficiency in using educational technology

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Specialist training in early years education

Working Conditions:

The role involves working with young children in a school setting, following the academic calendar with term-time hours. The teacher may be required to attend occasional evening events or meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
