Teaching Personnel is currently working on behalf of a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Poulton-le-Fylde (FY6) to recruit a Fully Qualified Teacher for a full-time maternity cover role starting in September 2025. This role will be delivered via supply through Teaching Personnel and is expected to continue for the duration of the maternity leave.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full class teaching responsibility in Year 6, including planning, assessment, and reporting

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum

• Prepare pupils for end-of-year assessments (SATs) with confidence and care

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment

• Work collaboratively with the school’s SLT and wider staff team

Ideal Candidate:

• Holds QTS and has recent experience in Upper Key Stage 2

• Ideally has prior experience teaching Year 6 and preparing pupils for SATs

• Confident with behaviour management and differentiation

• Able to quickly integrate into a new school setting and contribute to wider school life

• Committed to high standards of teaching and learning
