KS2 Teacher – Primary Schools | Sheffield & Barnsley | September 2025 Start

Are you a passionate and committed Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are working with a number of friendly and supportive primary schools across Sheffield and Barnsley who are seeking talented teachers to join their teams from September 2025.


Location: Sheffield & Barnsley

Role: KS2 Teacher (Years 3–6)

Start Date: September 2025 (earlier starts available)

⏰ Contract: Full-time | Long-term with potential for permanent


Your Role Will Include:

  • Delivering high-quality, engaging lessons to KS2 pupils
  • Planning, assessing, and tracking progress in line with the national curriculum
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Supporting pupils with a range of abilities, including SEN and EAL
  • Working collaboratively with teaching staff, leadership teams, and parents

✅ Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in a KS2 classroom (ECTs welcome to apply)
  • Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
