Exciting Opportunity for Key Stage 2 Teacher in Louth
Introduction Are you a qualified Primary Teacher seeking a fulfilling role in Louth? Teaching Personnel has an immediate need for a Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a mixed Year 3/4 class after Easter, starting in April 2024. This position offers the chance to play a vital role in students' education and development.
Role Details
- Start Date: The role commences after Easter, starting in April 2024, and continues until July 2024, with the potential for a permanent contract directly with the school.
- Working Hours: Full-time hours, term-time only (minimum 8:30 am – 3:30 pm). Additional hours may be required for staff meetings, inspections, and parent consultations. Part-time or job share arrangements may be considered for suitable candidates.
Responsibilities As the Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will:
- Take full class responsibility, motivating children and utilizing resources creatively to facilitate learning.
- Foster a safe and supportive environment conducive to the development of social and communication skills.
- Record observations and summarize achievements, focusing on preparing students for a successful transition into upper Key Stage.
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning tailored to the needs of Year 3/4 students, inspiring enthusiasm and a love of learning.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of the national curriculum requirements, effectively planning and preparing teaching materials and assessments.
- Employ various strategies to manage classroom behavior in alignment with school policies.
- Assess, record, and report on students' academic, social, and personal progress, ensuring regular and consistent feedback.
- Manage classroom resources, organize learning materials, and maintain an engaging and positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with support staff, including teaching assistants, to effectively supervise and support student learning.
- Communicate and consult with parents regarding students' progress and development.
- Uphold the aims, policies, and ethos of the school, working collaboratively as part of a professional team.
Salary and Qualifications
- Salary: The rate of pay ranges between £120 and £160 per day, depending on experience. Term-time only.
- Qualifications: All applicants must hold UK QTS. Teachers with various levels of experience, including Early Career Teachers, are encouraged to apply. Experience and understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum are essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
