KS2 Class Teacher

Working pattern: Full Time

Pay: £90-£120 per day

Location: Liverpool

Year group: Upper Key Stage Two

The Head Teacher of a well-known Primary School in Liverpool has chosen Teaching Personnel to help appoint an upper key stage two Teacher working Full time, Monday to Friday starting from 30th October 2023.

The ideal candidate will have completed teaching experience in a challenging area and will need to be confident in upholding high standards of behaviour. The successful candidate must be able to lead a classroom and support the teaching assistants working within the room. This role requires a strong, confident teacher who has a love for education and enjoys teaching with experience of teaching across KS2. Upper KS2 experience would be advantageous as well as knowledge of KS2 assessments. This candidate would need to be able to support children with behavioural needs and those with SEN and to develop lesson plans to support children with additional needs.

The salary for this ranges from £90 per hour to £120 per day dependent upon experience. The role will be full time therefore working from Monday to Friday from 08:45 to 15:30 and the candidate will need to plan their own lessons in advance. This role is to begin from 30th October 2023 for the entirety of the academic year, possibly extending into the next academic year.

The school is a calm and friendly environment that supports children thoroughly, to develop confident and kind children. Staff training is prioritised and supported by the leadership and management team. This school is a smaller school with some children with Special Educational Needs, however not many.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
