Position: KS2 Teacher

Location: Bacup

Job Description: As a KS2 Teacher in our schools, you will play a crucial role in guiding and inspiring students through a critical stage of their education. Your responsibilities will include:

Role Overview

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that align with the national curriculum and cater to the diverse needs of KS2 learners.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued, safe, and motivated to succeed.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress through a range of formative and summative methods, providing constructive feedback to support development.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external partners to promote student well-being and academic achievement.
  • Take part in school events, extracurricular activities, and ongoing professional development to enhance your teaching practice and contribute to the wider school community.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching KS2 pupils is desirable, though applications from newly qualified teachers are welcome.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • A genuine passion for primary education and commitment to creating a positive learning experience.

All quoted pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with the potential to become permanent in the future.
